The Teen Heroes continued to grow. I decided Force, would share the same powers as Phoenix, and she would be a time traveler. I also renamed her to Azula. I heard the name, and I like it. Because, Azula's primary power wasn't to generate force fields anymore, I created a new character who could do just that.
I created Mana. Mana originally started as the sweat girl, with a bad girl image. She wasn't girly like Storm Girl. She was tough, and she wanted people to know it. I got the name Mana because her abilities came from magic. She was the first character I created whose abilities revolved around magic. She could create force fields, create portals, teleport, cast spells and curses, and any other supernatural thing I could think of. I also wanted her to have a male counterpart.
My top five favorite superheroes are mostly females, because they posses my favorite superpowers. The problem with that is, I was never able to be them for Halloween; not without someone talking me down, anyway. That's why I created Silver, Mana's cousin. Silver, possesses Mana's exact abilities. I created Silver so that boys who liked Mana's superpowers could enjoy dressing up as Silver for Halloween, and play with his action figure.
From 2008 to 2009 I drew countless drawings of each hero I had created; mostly in my math class. What I didn't know was that the Teen Heroes, would soon star in their own live action film.
